Nagaland has so far reported 1,030 COVID-19 cases, of which 545 are active and 485 have recovered
Kohima: One more person recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the number of recovered cases in Nagaland to 485. Earlier in the morning, nine new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the state.

As per the severity of symptoms, out of 545 active cases, 541 are asymptomatic, two are mild symptomatic, one is moderate symptomatic and one is critical in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on ventilator.
The COVID-19 recovery rate in the state as on Tuesday is 47%. On Tuesday morning, nine fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported out of which six persons are from Dimapur, two from Mon and one from Peren. The new cases were reported out of 239 samples that were sent for testing.
As per the age wise distribution, 24 are between 0-17 years, 944 between 18-44 years, 59 persons between 45-64, two persons between 65-74 years, and one person above the age of 65. As per the distribution of cases by gender, 801 are males comprising of 77.7% and 229 are females comprising of 22.3%.
A total of 19,118 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and the results of 18,246 samples have been received. Out of these, a total of 11,446 samples have been tested at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and out of which 340 samples have tested positive. At the BSL-2 lab at the CIHSR, Dimapur, a total of 2,946 samples have been processed and out of which 285 samples have tested positive.
In addition, a total of 12,664 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 11,931 samples have tested negative, and 391 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR. A total of 2,774 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
