The Mizoram government has announced fresh guidelines for state-wide partial lockdown for a period of one month to prevent further spread of novel coronavirus in the state.

Nagaland's tally for confirmed cases near 500 mark as 21 more persons have tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the 21 new cases, 10 persons are from Peren, eight persons from Phek, eight from Kohima and two from Dimapur.

According to the latest updates provided by the Union health ministry, there are 220,114 active cases with 17,400 deaths so far in the country. As many as 347,978 patients have been cured or discharged and one has migrated
