According to media reports, Maharashtra government has capped the maximum price for COVID19 tests (RT-PCR) at Rs 2200, the earlier price was 4400. The maximum price for the test by collecting samples from home is capped at Rs 2800.

The total number of coronavirus cases in India reached 308,993 on Saturday (June 13), as of 8 am, with the death toll standing at 8,884.
According to the latest updates provided by the Union health ministry, there are 145,779 active cases with 8,884 deaths so far in the country. As many as 154,329 patients have been cured or discharged and one has migrated.
