Agartala: Another 38 persons have tested positive for coronavirus, taking the total number of cases to 841 so far.
With this, the number of active cases in Tripura soars to 645 in the state, while 192 patients have been discharged.

Taking to twitter, chief minister wrote, ““38 people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE in Tripura out of 1480 samples tested. All of them are from Sepahijala District and have returned from Chennai by train.
Earlier this evening Law minister Ratan Lal Nath said, Tripura has 607 active COVID-19 cases, among them 238 are being treated at COVID care centre, 84 in COVID-19 hospital at GB Pant hospital, 145 in Hapania international fairground, one each in BSF and Army hospital, seven in Gomati PRTI, three in PTI Ambassa, 30 in Laisinghmura in Sepahijala and 68 persons are on the way.
A total of 192, including 19 today have been discharged after recovery. Rests of them are on the way to COVID care centre. The state has 9,359 tests per million.
A total of 38,805 persons were placed under surveillance, out of which 26,854 persons were released after completion of 14 days’ observation period while there are 727 persons in facility quarantine while 11,224 persons in-home quarantine as on Saturday.
On Monday, over 619 samples were collected from across the state, and 850 samples are being tested. A total of 40,838 samples have been collected, of which 37,415 samples have been tested.
