According to information given by DIPR Mizoram, the 3 COVID-19 patients -- women aged 19-45 years -- are from Lunglei, Mamit and Saitual districts
Aizawl: Three women who recently returned to the state tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
According to information given by DIPR Mizoram, the three women aged between 19 and 45 years are from Lunglei, Mamit and Saitual districts of the state.
DIPR Mizoram said in a tweet, "3 women- one each from Lunglei, Mamit and Saitual Districts have been found COVID19 positive past midnight last night. All are recent returnees from outside Mizoram, ages 19, 22 and 45."
Within this week, Mizoram went from 0 active cases of coronavirus to 16 cases. All the new cases are stranded natives who returned to the state.
So far, Mizoram has reported total 17 cases, of which 16 are active and 1 persons has been cured and dishcarged.
