Guwahati: Another 51 cases of COVID-19 were detected in Assam on Wednesday, increasing the state’s tally to 1,672 cases, informed heatlh and family welfare minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Of the new cases, 28 are from Dhubri district, 13 from Darrang, five from Karinganj, three from Sonitpur and two from Lakhimpur.
Taking to Twitter, the health minister wrote, “Alert ~ 51 new cases of #COVID19+

As on Wednesday afternoon, Assam reported 111 new cases. So far, the state reported 1672 cases of which 1328 are active, 337 have recovered, 4 deaths and 3 migrated to other states.
