Delhi Police has stepped up its game against the fight of coronavirus by inducting into service India’s first thermal detection headgear that can significantly reduce the chances of coming in close contact with people when the cops are on duty checking the movement of traffic. Indian Robo Store group in collaboration with Delhi Police has come up with a headgear named Thermal Corona Combat Gear.
The person who wears the headgear will be able to scan the body of a person with thermal scanners mounted on the gear. This will enable police personnel to safely scan the body temperature of an individual from a safe distance of 10 to 15 metres.
It can also assist health workers to be on the ground and scan potential individuals with high body temperature without the need of coming in close contact with them thus significantly reducing the risk of getting infected with coronavirus.
The device can also send live images to the central control centre and will help in assisting operations in hospitals, supermarkets and other public places during the pandemic outbreak.
