2 days on, Assam reports 4 more COVID-19 cases from Bongaigaon district, taking the total tally to 41 in the state, announces health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma
Guwahati: Two days after Bongaigaon reported its first COVID-19 case, four more from the district in Assam were found to be infected with the deadly coronavirus, announced health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
With this, the total number of positive cases has gone up to 41. Of this, 29 have been discharged and one died. Now, 11 active cases remain in hospitals.
Taking to Twitter, Sarma announced: "Alert ~ Four more #COVID positive cases are reported from Bongaingaon district.
The number of #COVID19 patients in Assam now stands at 41. ( 29 are discharged, 1 death, so active hospital cases 11.)
