American rapper, singer and song-writer Montero Lamar Hill, known by his stage name Lil Nas X, is the pregnant man with the baby bump doing rounds on the internet.

The two-time Grammy Award winning star is dropping his new album ‘Montero‘, that he likes to call his ‘baby’. Little Nas X’s bundle of joy is one of his most highly anticipated solo albums, due for delivery on September 17.

Nas also shared a Sonogram picture with fans, of what seemed to look like the singer’s pose from Montero album cover in a Uterus.

The rapper decided to do a ‘pregnancy shoot’ with People magazine after someone jokingly asked him to do so over his comment on the album being his baby.

Nas likes to refer to himself as both, the father and the mother of his album. He gave fans a tweak into the album by telling them that the album was all about his own life stories.

Although Nas’ idea to have his pregnancy shoot preceded Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, he wittily took inspiration from Drake’s new album cover (which dropped on September 3), and made a parody for his own album, posting the same on Instagram with the caption saying, “MONTERO” THE ALBUM, OUT SEPTEMBER 17, 2021″.

The rapper also fooled around re-tweeting a post by Nickelodeon, reminiscing the time when Cosmo Julius Cosma is one of the main characters of the channel’s shows, The Fairly OddParents, gave birth.

NAS is also raising money for charities, to help LGBTQ and human rights organizations, ahead of the release of his new album.

The rapper posted the link to a ‘baby registry’ that shows a list of songs in his new album. Each track corresponds to a non profit organization that users can directly donate money to.

The rapper also revealed his album cover and his inspiration behind the same. In 2 tweets he showed that the Montero album cover was inspired by John Stephens’ Genesis II.

“Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work,” read a quote from the caption.

Montero album cover also has Lil Nas X floating which Nas jokingly revealed, was inspired from a Sponge Bob meme.

Nas has been sharing regular updates with his fans about his baby album Montero and all that he is doing to prepare for its release.
