Guwahati: The District Disaster Management Authority, Morigaon, Assam has invited intending candidates to appear for a walk-in interview on July 18, 2019 for the contractual engagement for the post of field officers. Candidates should appear for the interview at the deputy commissioner’s office in Morigaon. The selected persons would be posted at Morigaon, Mayong and Mikkirbheta revenue circles of Morigaon district.

Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in science or with statistics, geography, environmental science or geology as a subject or diploma in civil engineering or architecture from a recognised university/ institution.

Age: Should not be below 21 years and above 35 years as on January 1, 2019. Age limit relaxable in case of SC/ST candidates as per rules.

Desired qualification: Computer skills specially MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Internet usage/ emails. Preference will be given to candidates having done BCA or equivalent course on computer science.

Duty station: He/she will be stationed in the revenue circle office and will work under the direct control and supervision of the circle officer, who will be the authority to sanction leave and reporting officer in respect of performance appraisal.

Duration of the contract: The contract will initially be for a period of one year subjected to annual renewal on the basis of performance appraisal an as per the government instruction further.

Remuneration: An amount of Rs 20,000 will be paid as fixed and consolidated monthly remuneration which includes:
