Guwahati: Applications from eligible candidates are invited for the recruitment in following post by District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Nagaon, Assam:

Name of post: Field Officer (Disaster Management) for Revenue Circle

No of posts: 1

Educational qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree in science or with statistics, geography, environmental science or geology as a subject, or diploma in civil engineering or architecture from a recognised university.
2. Computer skills specially MS word/excel/power point/internet usage/ emails. Preference will be given to candidates having done BCA or equivalent course on computer science

Pay Scale: Rs 20,000 per month

Duration of engagement:

Field officers will be selected on the basis of interview conducted by the District Level Selection Committee. The contract will initially be for a period up to March 2020 and subjected to annual renewal on the basis of performance appraisal and availability of fund. The application will be purely on contractual basis and the candidates would not be entitled to any claim, right, interest or further benefits in terms of regulation or consideration of further appointment to the said post or any other post.

Date of interview: July 20, 2019

The shortlisted candidates will have to report to the conference room of district emergency operation centre in the deputy commissioner’s office Nagaon from 10 am onwards with original supporting documents. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be available on the official website www.nagaon.nic.in on July 20, 2019. Candidates reporting after 10.30 am will not be entertained for the interview.
