Guwahati: IDBI Bank has entered into an MoU with Manipal Global Education Services (MGES) Bengaluru to provide training in banking and finance to prospective candidates seeking to join IDBI Bank as assistant managers (grade A).
The bank has invited applications from young and dynamic candidates for admissions into the Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru for a 1-year postgraduate diploma in banking and finance (PGDBF). After the completion of the course, the candidates will be awarded the degree from Manipal University and will be inducted into the IDBI Bank as assistant managers (grade A).

Educational qualification: Graduation from a recognised university
Age: The candidate should be of minimum 21 years of age and maximum of 28 years. Relaxation to the maximum age to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ex-servicemen would be as per government guidelines.
Pay Scale: The extant basic pay applicable to assistant managers in grade A is Rs 23,700 per month in the pay scale of Rs 23,700-980(7)-30,560-1,145(2)-32,850-1,310(7) - 42,020 (17 years)
Application fees: Rs 150 for SC/ST/PWD candidates, Rs 700 for all others.
Selection process: The selection process will comprise an online test followed by personal interview of the candidates who will qualify for the online test. The online test will be objective in nature.
How to apply:
Step 1: Visit IDBI bank website www.idbibank.in and click on ‘careers ‘ to open the link ‘Admissions to Manipal School of Banking 2019-20’
Step 2: Click on the option ‘apply online’. To register application, choose the button of “registration”, present on right hand side top of the screen.
Step 3: On clicking the “registration” the user will be redirected to “Basic Registration” page. Enter basic details and contact number. The bank will send an OTP to the mobile number entered. Submit the OTP as received via SMS for verification.
Step 4: A registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the registration number and password. An email & SMS indicating the registration number and password will also be sent.
Step 5: Login with the registration number and password provided by system and fill the detailed registration form.
Step 6: On first login, system will force user to change the password. Once the password is changed, the user needs to read through the instructions displayed on the home page after login and submit the acceptance of the terms. Click on ‘Continue’ button to proceed to detailed registration form and submit other information as personal details, education, experience Details, photo upload and signature upload.
Note: In case the candidate is unable to complete the detailed registration form in one go, he / she can save the data page wise and come back and enter the details in remaining pages or modify in already filled pages.
