Guwahati: In a barbaric incident, a father has been absconding after he allegedly killed his daughter in Boragaon area in Guwahati city.
The accused was identified as Balbahadur Bishwakarma alias Balen Chetri.
Chetri reportedly killed his 11-year-old daughter last evening and has since been absconding.
Police said that the victim’s mother was not present in the house at the time of the crime. The police recovered a rope and an alcohol bottle beside the victim’s body.
Meanwhile, the police are on the hunt to nab the absconding father.
