Northeast Frontier Railway will resume the services of two pairs of daily special passenger trains between New Bongaigaon and Guwahati for the benefit of local passengers.
One train will run via Goalpara and another will run via Rangiya from September 22, 2021. Moreover, services of weekly special train running between Udaipur and New Jalpaiguri have also been extended as per existing stoppages and composition to clear extra rush of passengers.
It was announced in a press release that services of Train No. 05803/05804 New Bongaigaon – Guwahati – New Bongaigaon daily passenger special via Goalpara will be resumed, leaving New Bongaigaon with effect from September 22, 2021, and leaving Guwahati with effect from September 23, 2021. The train will leave from New Bongaigaon at 05:05 PM to reach Guwahati at 09:40 PM and leave from Guwahati at 07:20 AM to reach New Bongaigaon at 12:15 PM.
The release also said that services of daily passenger special train no. 05809/05810 New Bongaigaon – Guwahati – New Bongaigaon via Rangiya will resume leaving New Bongaigaon with effect from September 22, 2021, and leaving Guwahati with effect from September 23, 2021. The train will leave from New Bongaigaon at 04:45 PM to reach Guwahati at 09:25 PM, and leave from Guwahati at 05:00 AM to reach New Bongaigaon at 10:20 AM.
Moreover, services of weekly festival special train no. 09601/09602 Udaipur – New Jalpaiguri – Udaipur, leaving Udaipur every Saturday has been extended for the period from September 25, 2021, to June 25, 2022. The train leaving New Jalpaiguri every Monday has also been extended for the period from September 27, 2021, to June 27, 2022.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also being notified through various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to check the details before undertaking their journey.
The N.F. Railway has notified that during the train journey and on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state.
