Guwahati: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 results on Tuesday with a record-breaking 99.04% pass percentage. This marked an astounding growth of more than 8 percentage points compared to last year when it was 91.46%. Region-wise, Thiruvananthapuram saw the highest pass percentage of 99.99%, while Guwahati recorded the lowest with just 90.54%.

This is the second consecutive year when Thiruvananthapuram region topped and Guwahati region has been at the bottom of the Class 10 pass percentage.

In 2020, the overall pass percentage was 91.46%. Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest pass percent at 99.28, while Guwahati secured the lowest at 79.12 percent.
