In a tragic incident in Kathiatoli town of Assam’s Nagaon district, two siblings were found dead in a drain beside a field on Wednesday.
According to locals, both siblings had been missing since Tuesday afternoon following an argument between their parents.
Locals found their bodies on Wednesday morning and reported to the police.
“I came to work in the field when I saw dead bodies of two children. I called my friends immediately to identify the bodies,” a local said.
Another local from Kathiatoli added, “I rushed to the spot along with everyone else and informed the police about the incident.”
After being informed, the Kathiatoli police rushed to the spot and recovered the two bodies, later they sent them for post-mortem.
