The former chief minister and member of the Assam assembly, Sarbananda Sonowal reached his constituency Majuli on Thursday to take stock of works on erosion preventive measures being carried out in his constituency. He was accompanied by Water Resources, Information & Public Relations and Parliamentary Affairs minister Pijush Hazarika, Sports & Youth Welfare minister Bimal Bora and Lok Sabha member Pradan Barua along with other officials.
