Guwahati: Debraj Dey, a student of Allen Career Institute, Guwahati, Day scored 99.75 percentile to emerge as the state topper in the results of the JEE Main March 2021 announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA),
Brajesh Kumar Yadav, Centre Head of Allen Career Institute Guwahati, said that from the classroom course, 7 students scored more than 99 percentile, 28 students scored above 95 percentile and 47 students scored above 90 percentile.
He added, “The most encouraging factor in this result is that a lot of our students have improved their percentile compared to the February attempt.”
Further, Yadav said, “We are extremely elated to announce that after delivering the Assam state topper in JEE (Main) 2021 February attempt for the B.E/B.Tech course, the Assam state topper for B.Arch is our 2-year classroom student Hrishikesh Deka. He secured 99.9303792 percentile. In total, we have 11 students who secured 92 percentile and above.”
Countrywide, Allen student Kavya Chopra made history by becoming the first female student to achieve the perfect score of 300 out of 300 marks along with scoring a 100 percentile.
Along with her, Allen Classroom students Mridul Agarwal scored 100 percent on the winning streak and got 300 out of 300 marks. Also, Zenith Malhotra and Rohit Kumar scored 100 percentile.
The JEE Main 2021 is being conducted four times this year; NTA will conduct the exam in two more sessions- April and finally in May. Students have been given an option to appear in all the sessions or as many as they wish. NTA will consider the best of the four scores while preparing the final merit list in the first week of June.
