Guwahati: The first batch of COVID-19 vaccine for Assam and Meghalaya will arrive at the Guwahati airport on Tuesday evening.
According to sources, SpiceJet flight no SG 7451 carrying the consignment left from Pune this morning and will land at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati around 5 pm today.
The first phase of COVID-19 vaccination will start across the country on January 16.
