The Rasode mein kaun tha became viral after 24-year-old Yashraj Mukhate (engineer turned music producer) uploaded a video musical spoof featuring characters Kokilaben, Rashi, and Gopi bahu from the TV show Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Nagaon Police adaptation to the trend was spot on and it created a lot of buzz on social media.

Jokes aside, the Nagaon Police unit was able to capture two drug peddlers and was able to seize drugs that were hidden in a carton of vitamins and Livsaf.

According to director general of police Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, this seizure comes at a time when a Special Narcotics Cell has been set up under the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to deal with the increased drug trafficking situation in the state.

Additionally, according to him that the recovery of psychotropic tablets in Assam has gone up to 274% in just the past two months. This is all due to a sustained drive against drug trafficking. Moreover, the seizure of ganja has increased to 60.04% and heroin to 53.6%.
