Guwahati: The industries and commerce department of Assam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e-commerce giant Flipkart in presence of Chandra Mohan Patowary, state minister of transport, industries, and commerce, through an online platform.
The strategic partnership between the state government and the e-commerce company will help promote weavers, artisans, and craftsmen of Assam through the firm's 'Flipkart Samarth' programme to provide access to the national markets.
