ePaisa expands its point of sale solution in Northeast India supporting the “vocal for local” campaign
Guwahati: ePaisa, a mobile-based point of sale (POS) application, has recently expanded its services in all the states of the Northeast, except in Sikkim. It combines machine learning with cloud computing to deliver a user-friendly Point of Sale experience for multiple business types.
"Being a POS player in the country, the company is now overlooking at a PAN India presence to cater to the respective market, especially in Tier-II and Tier-III zones. The Northeastern states being an uplifting market, the primary focus is to digitalize the SME, MME, and retail segments by addressing their merchant pain points and organizing their day-today businesses effectively and efficiently," a press release said.
The cloud-based POS also comes with the new Retail OS with upgraded features.
The ePaisa has also tied-up with Seva Sarthi Autorickshaw Taxi and Transport Union to provide a QR code payment solution to autorickshaws in Maharashtra. Additionally, ePaisa and MEP infra have come together for ePaisa QR code payment in toll nakas in Mumbai. Lastly, ePaisa and First Alliance Bank (Zambia) have partnered to provide Point of Sale Solution in South Africa as well, the release added.
