Flood waters have hit 2,548 villages in 77 revenue circles, and affected over 5.4 lakh hectares of crop
Guwahati: Two more people lost their lives due to floods in Assam's Bongaigaon and Kokrajhar districts, taking the death toll in the state to 91.
According to Assam State Disaster Management Authority's update, 26,69,967 people are affected in 25 districts across the state, while 45,186 people are sheltered in 280 relief camps. 75 boats were deployed by Circle Office and 613 persons were evacuated.

Seven rivers, including Brahmaputra, are flowing over the danger mark.
Meanwhile, In Kaziranga National Park as many as 120 animals have died due to floods, while 147 have been rescued as per the report by the Divisional Forest Officer, Eastern Assam Wildlife division.
