Assam: 155 more test COVID-19 positive; state tally touches 2,681

Out of 2,681 COVID-19 cases so far, 636 patients have been discharged, four have died and three migrated to other states

Guwahati: Another 155 persons tested positive for COVID-19 aka coronavirus in Assam on Sunday night. With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases has gone up to 2,681 in the state.

Announcing the new cases on Twitter, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said: “Alert ~ 155 more #COVID19+ cases today.

Recovered 636

Active cases 2038

Assam has reported 2,681 COVID-19 cases so far. Of this, while 636 patients have been discharged, four have died and three migrated to other states. Currently, there are 2,038 active cases.

According to Sarma, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases detected in Assam on Sunday was 208.
