Bureaucratic rejig made as per notification issued by additional secretary to state govt, personnel (A) department; 2 ACS officers also shifted
Tinsukia: The Assam government on Wednesday carried out a minor bureaucratic reshuffle.
A notification issued by additional secretary to government of Assam (Personnel (A) department) Debajyoti Dutta stated five officers, including three IAS officers and two ACS officers, has been transferred.
Adil Khan, IAS (2011), currently posted as deputy commissioner of Bongaigaon, has been transferred and posted as commissioner of transport, Assam and state project director of Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society as additional charge.
Oinam Sarankumar Singh, IAS (2012), currently posted as deputy commissioner of Tinsukia, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of industries and commerce department for posting him as MD of AIDC.
"Bhaskar Pegu, ACS (1992) has been posted as the new deputy commissioner of Tinsukia," the notification read. He was the deputy commissioner of Baksa. Ranjan Sarma, ACS (1992), has been posted as the new deputy commissioner of Baksa.
Sadnek Singh, IAS (2014), who is currently posted as additional deputy commissioner of Kamrup (Metro), has been transferred as deputy commissioner of Bongaigaon.
