The Nepal-based airline aims to create a vital connection between the country and the eastern parts of India in states like Assam and Meghalaya
Guwahati: Buddha Air, a prominent airline in Nepal, has announced that the company will operate flights between Kathmandu and Guwahati from August 3.
In its official Facebook page, the airline wrote, “With our sights set on expanding our wings in the international skies, we are very happy to announce that we will be operating flights between Kathmandu and Guwahati from 3 August 2019.”
“We will be operating two flights at 7 am every Tuesday and Saturday between #Kathmandu and #Guwahati. With this flight route, we hope to create a vital connection between Nepal and the eastern parts of India in states like Assam, Meghalaya, etc, the Airline said.
Buddha Air is also preparing to operate three flights weekly from Kathmandu to Kolkata. The airline has announced that it will commence its flight on the Kathmandu-Kolkata air route from May 27.
