Pema Khandu sworn in as Arunachal CM for second term

Deputy CM Chowna Mein, 10 other cabinet ministers also administered oath of office and secrecy by governor BD Mishra at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Hall in Itanagar

Itanagar: Pema Khandu was sworn in as the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh for a second term on Wednesday.

Along with Pema Khandu, deputy chief minister Chowna Mein and 10 other cabinet ministers were also sworn in. Governor BD Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to the council of ministers. The swearing-in ceremony was organised at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Hall in Itanagar.

Pema Khandu-led BJP government's cabinet includes Bamang Felix, Mama Natung, Tage Taki, Honchun Ngandam, Tumke Bagra, Taba Tedir, Nakap Nalo, Wangki Lowang, Komlung Mosang and Alo Libang.

The chief minister thanked the people of Arunachal Pradesh on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the huge love and support in this election.

The priorities for the newly formed incorporates law and order, education, health and unemployment, said Khandu. He also said that Arunachal would witness many investors from outside the state so that issues like unemployment can be minimized to some extend. He informed this while addressing the press.

Khandu also announced that this government will be a clean, transparent and corruption free government.
