Itanagar: National People’s Party (NPP) president and Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma is all set to visit Itanagar on Friday, during which he is expected to have an interaction with all the party leaders and candidates contesting the recent assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Arunachal Pradesh.
Sangma would be accompanied by Manipur deputy chief minister Joy Kumar Singh, Meghalaya home minister James Sangma, MLAs Wailad Shylla, Rupert Momin, Meghalaya State Planning Board co-chairman B S Sangma and other dignitaries, NPP state vice president Nima Sangey Saling said in a statement on Wednesday.
Conrad is also expected to address media persons later in the day, Saling said.
Meanwhile, NPP state president Gicho Kabak has directed to all the party candidates, state office bearers and frontal heads to attend the interaction programme on Friday.
The NPP has fielded one MP candidate in the Arunachal Western Parliamentary Constituency and 30 MLA candidates in the recently-held elections, the results of which will be declared on May 23.
